If I understand correctly, bin size 1 does not mean that mean will be exactly one of the values of x axis. However when bin size is 1, the calculated mean and actual mean will be the same.
The positive and negative deviation form 6 is same, so it canceling each other. so how it is different from weighted average.
No, it’s not same… the x-axis acts here as a weight, and y-axis as number of such weights.
So we cannot calculate the mean this way.
