Regarding week 5(2 gram exercise)

TypeError: list indices must be integers or slices, not tuple

def iterable_counter(iter_obj):

count_dict= []

for item in iter_obj:

    if item in count_dict:

        count_dict[item]+=1

    else:

        count_dict[item]=1

return count_dict

two_grams_freq= iterable_counter(two_gram)

On which line is the error occuring?
